How to measure my bra size at home?

Wearing an incorrectly fitted bra can cause discomfort throughout the day, from slipping straps to back pain. Fortunately, determining your proper size at home is straightforward.

Get Ready to Measure
For accuracy, take measurements while wearing a non-padded, unlined bra or no bra. You'll need a soft measuring tape and a mirror.

Measure Your Band Size
Wrap the measuring tape snugly around your ribcage, just under your bust. Keep it level and not overly tight. Round odd numbers up to the nearest even number (for example, 33 inches becomes 34).

Measure Your Bust Size
Measure around the fullest part of your bust, typically at nipple level. The tape should sit gently without compression.

Calculate Your Cup Size
Subtract your band measurement from your bust measurement. Each inch of difference represents one cup size: one inch equals A cup, two inches equals B cup, three inches equals C cup, and so forth.
